Introduction
Crace is being developed over six years as a joint venture between the ACT’s Land Development Agency (LDA) and Crace Developments Pty Ltd, a consortium led by CIC Australia (as project manager and majority partner of the consortium), Defence Housing Australia (DHA) and CHC Affordable Housing.
Land Development Agency
Land Development Agency (LDA) sells and develops land on behalf of the ACT Government and is dedicated to achieving new standards of innovation, excellence and value in urban design and sustainable development in Canberra. As an ACT Government agency, LDA’s first priority is the immediate and future benefit of Canberra and its residents.
CIC Australia
CIC Australia has grown from modest beginnings in the Canberra region in the early 1990s to become one of the Australia's most progressive development companies. CIC Australia now has major projects in Darwin, Adelaide and the south coast of New South Wales, as well as here in Canberra. At Crace, CIC is the project manager and is responsible for the development’s marketing and sales. CIC is the majority partner in Crace Developments Pty Ltd.
Defence Housing Australia
Defence Housing Australia (DHA) was established in 1987 to provide housing for members of the Australian Defence Force and their families. The organisation provides a complete housing solution, offering property management and relocation services for its customers. To that end, DHA is often involved in joint ventures to develop new housing, especially in regional centres around Australia. DHA is a minority partner is Crace Developments Pty Ltd.
CHC
CHC is a not-for-profit development company that delivers affordable properties for both sale and rent to the ACT community. At Crace, CHC is delivering well-located, functional and flexible housing options to both purchasers and renters alike and is partnering with some of Canberra’s leading builders and architects to create properties that are redefining the concept of “affordable”.
