Retail Centre

At the heart of Crace will be a vibrant retail centre, with a cafe/restaurant, supermarket and specialty stores — Crace Central.

Crace Central will come alive as more residents arrive and is planned to open in 2013. There are plans for a supermarket and other shops, as well as places for people to meet and socialise. Attractive landscaping and tree planting will see this centre grow into a local hub, with a scale that’s more personal and informal than that of Canberra’s major town centres. (Imagine a modern version of the shops and cafes at Ainslie.) The urban precinct of Crace is becoming a well-established residential area, with a range of different housing types from terraces to compact detached houses. Future apartments in this area will add to the urban buzz.
