Why Crace?

Even people who wouldn’t normally consider buying in a new suburb have been attracted to Crace. It’s different – planned around a vibrant urban village with a real main street, local shops, community facilities and cafés. Many will live there in the thick of things, in a terrace, apartment or freestanding courtyard home. Others will stroll in from the leafy suburban streets.

In the urban precinct of Crace, we’ve been inspired by inner-city living in Melbourne or Sydney and have developed housing styles that are a modern take on Paddington or Carlton. The suburban precinct surrounding the urban core is modelled on the best of ‘old Canberra’. The streets are laid out in a logical grid that’s easy to navigate and there are proper footpaths and verges.  Canberra’s inner suburbs also have a harmony in home design. Although styles and materials have changed, the Crace design philosophy will ensure that our streetscapes have that same sense of harmony.
