Development Update

August 2011

With the subdivision works for Stages 1B1, 1B3 and 1B4 along the southern side of Crace now complete home builders have really ramped up their activities with hundreds of homes under construction.  The population of residents living in Crace will be rising quickly as these homes are finished.

Subdivision works are underway in further stages comprising around 300 blocks whilst the roads and services around the village centre are nearing completion.

Landscaping of the linear park and the Heritage Park is complete and will be opened to the public in spring following establishment. Designs are being finalised for the Hilltop Park with work expected to commence later this year.

The DA for the main recreation Park at Crace is expected to be approved in September with construction works to commence shortly after that. Likewise the DA for the shopping centre is currently being assessed by ACTPLA with approval also expected in September.

Februay 2011

With almost 90 homes now built  in Stage 1 and the street landscaping now mostly completed we can see the benefits of the Crace concept of street-scaping. The streets are looking great. Our first residents are settling down in both the urban and suburban areas and the community is coming to life.

We have a big month ahead. Works on the main central park are getting underway, with earthworks being undertaken in March. Also in March we will also be commencing work on Stage 2 of Crace, which has now been approved.  Our main civil contractors  are working on multiple fronts and are working overtime to regain the time we lost over the wet summer period.

Plans for the village centre shops are well advanced, with the Development Application submission due in March.
