Clearing-up Crace concerns
Wednesday, 24 November, 2010
There's talk about town that there will more homes and fewer parks at Crace, but what's the truth?
"Firstly, the number of homes being built at Crace hasn't changed much since the suburb was first launched back in 2008," Ian says.
"The Crace masterplan, which is on display in our sales office and on our website, has always shown about 1,700 homes — not 1,200 — at the suburb.
There are also claims that residents and locals will miss out on planned parks and other leisure amenities?
"Not true," says Ian.
"In fact, we're making Crace's main recreation parks even bigger... The main hilltop park has been increased in size to provide a wildlife corridor link to adjoining bushlands... The area once proposed for ovals will now include amenities such as cricket, basketball and netball facilities, a hitting wall, bike and skateboard areas, exercise stations, a playground for 3 to 12 year olds, picnic facilities, a formal garden and a series of pathways and walking tracks."
So there you have it. But if you have any further questions, our friendly sales team is at the ready to help. Call, click or come by for a cuppa and we can discuss any concerns you may have.
