Sustainable House Day – 11am to 5pm, Sunday 12 September

Crace—Canberra’s greenest new community and the city’s first HIA GreenSmart® suburb—is upping the ante for Sustainable House Day with a range of talks and presentations to help renovators and new home buyers get greener.

The suburb’s demonstration village, which will be open from 11am to 5pm on Sunday 12 September, will play host to some of the region’s best and most knowledgeable sustainability experts including Nick Gorrie from James Hardie, who will provide hourly talks and tours (11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm & 3.30pm).

The Crace builders are joining in, with talks at 1.00pm and 2.00pm in their display homes. The homes themselves will showcase the latest in green building ideas and enable visitors to see the benefits up close, ask questions of our experts, and learn from our builders’ professional advice.
